Objective:
To develop the ability of chapter treasurers to correctly maintain
accurate records of all chapter financial transactions in an approved manner as
outlined in the Official FFA Chapter Treasurer Book.
A.
Rules and Regulations
1.
Chapter Treasurer books are to be brought to the COLT Conference session
attended by the chapter members.
2.
The chapter treasurer books will be placed on display during the COLT
Conference and should be picked up by the chapter at the close of the session
that they attend.
B.
Procedures
1.
The treasurer book must be for the most recent year completed, i.e.,
April 1 through March 31.
2.
If an account is in the "red," it would be acceptable to place
those financial figures in red ink in lieu of using a minus sign (‑)
preceding those figures.
3.
The chapter budget shall be inserted in the appropriate section of the
treasurer book.
C.
Official Score Card
The score card as found in the Official FFA Chapter
Treasurer Book shall be the official scorecard.
D.
Awards
Treasurer books meriting awards may be designated as
purple, blue, red, or white ribbon winners.
